Pakistan charges Lahore man with ‘digital terrorism’ over UK riots

Pakistani authorities arrested a Lahore resident, Farhan Asif, charging him with “digital terrorism” for allegedly spreading misinformation that incited race-related unrest in the UK. Linked to the website Channel 3 Now, Asif is accused of copying false information about a suspect involved in the Southport stabbings. The FIA has taken up the case.
