‘Reconsider role of Ketan Desai as IMA chief patron’: FAIMA urges doctors’ body

The Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) has requested the Indian Medical Association (IMA) to reconsider Ketan Desai’s role as chief patron amid concerns about electoral integrity and alleged corruption. Desai, previously arrested in 2010 for accepting a bribe, was elected president of World Medical Association in 2016 after all charges were withdrawn.
