Without mention of China and Russia, Quad ushers in new era

The Quad countries—United States, India, Japan, and Australia—have announced a de facto security alliance through the Wilmington Declaration. This initiative aims to counter China’s influence in the Indo-Pacific by enhancing cooperation in maritime security, space and cyber domains, clean energy projects, and humanitarian assistance to ensure long-term regional stability.
